DISTRICT INFORMATION
The Westridge School District offers a comprehensive curriculum and instructional program similar in scope to other school districts of similar size in Wisconsin. In recent years students have been offered a growing list of educational opportunities using technology. This includes access to online advanced placement and enrichment courses, remedial and credit recovery courses, supplemental online curricular resources to support face-to-face instruction, and a strong emphasis in Career and Technical Education. A core academic and fine arts curricular program is available to all students.
The Westridge School District has developed a solid and highly successful manufacturing program that connects with business and industry, a very strong business education program providing numerous courses needed for career and college readiness, and a growing family and consumer education program that has evolved to include medical occupations and food production courses.
In addition, the school district has spent a considerable amount of time and energy on teacher professional development with particular emphasis in improving reading achievement across all grade levels.
Hustisford also provides an expansive summer school program that supports both enrichment and remedial instruction across all grade levels.
The school board has invested a great deal in instructional technology, in addition to the recent replacement of the student management system – implementing Infinite Campus; purchasing a new student data management software – eduClimber; instituting the CESA # 6 Educator Effectiveness Project for teacher and principal evaluation and professional development; and the replacement of all district policies and administrative guideline through Neola Policy Services.
